The cast:
Josh- Jack of all trades, and master of quite a few. Best friend and partner. Beyond organized; some might say OCD.
Christine- Quintesential Ski Bum. 20 years in a ski town making lifestyle-informed decisions about everything from employment to housing.
Louis- 7.5 year old rescue chihuahua. If Spicoli were a small dog. Responsible for a few unsuspecting people adopting chihuahuas due to his “un-chihuahua-like” disposition misrepresenting the breed. Sorry ’bout that. Most often repeated sentiment about Lou, ” I normally don’t like small dogs…”
Mini- 3 year old rescue chihuahua. Everything you hate about these dogs rolled up into an adorable puppet. You’ll hate her and love her. I dare you not to be enchanted by her moxie. Or annoyed.
The vehicle: 1995 Toyota FZJ80. Rebuilt front end; otherwise stock. No lockers. ( that is mudder talk…) Loaded with a Technitop rooftop tent designed for South African safaris and a 1970 Honda CT-90 moto for short distance transport. And surfboards and yoga mats. My favorite cowboy boots. What else could a girl need? CHECK!
The plan: Rent our house for the ski season. ( Thank you Blair and Winston- hope you have a great winter!) Head out to Baja and possibly beyond in search of surf, yoga, inspiration and whatever goodness the universe may hold….
